In India, an alarming number of children face life-threatening diseases like cancer, SCID, and others. Our beloved organization Sodepur Waves of Life Charitable Society has taken a commitment to help those children and their families who are going through financial crises to get quality treatment for these diseases. We are here dedicated to aiding these underprivileged children by providing financial assistance for their costly treatments. We are also actively engaged in seeking and collecting contributions from compassionate individuals, appealing to their generosity for the betterment of these children’s well-being. We urge all of you over there to stand with us in our endeavor to safeguard child health and offer them hope.
Food Distribution
“Food brings happiness”. It is a fundamental necessity for every individual and also needed in sustaining lives and ensuring good health and well-being. SWLCS aims to alleviate food insecurity and contribute to the overall health and welfare of the community and to this end has initiated a food distribution program in which we serve approximately 600 needy and unprivileged people each month, providing them with nourishment and relief from hunger. We believe that through this initiative, we will overcome food insecurity and ensure everyone’s nourishment in our society.
Clothes and Blanket Distribution
Free clothes and blanket distribution remains one of our primary activities at Sodepur Waves of Life Charitable Society. Clothes are one of the basic needs of human life but unfortunately, most people who belong below the poverty line are unable to afford adequate clothing for their financial issues and also suffer in winter due to lack of access to blankets. And we are here to sympathize with them and provide them with clothes and blankets free of cost. By providing clothing and blankets, we not only offer physical comfort but also promote a sense of security and dignity among recipients.
Fruits Distribution

We at Sodepur Waves of Life Charitable Society run a baby kit distribution program that focuses on providing essential items to newborns and supporting unprivileged parents who struggle to manage the needs of their infants. These kits contain necessities like diapers, feeding bottles, baby lotion, powder, towels, and other basic needs for caring for a child. This program aims to ensure that every newborn receives the necessary supplies for their well-being and early development. By distributing these kits, we strive to support parents and promote the health and comfort of newborns.
Educational Support
Education is a fundamental right that empowers individuals and opens doors to a brighter future. But most of the marginalized children are remaining deprived of this for their weaker economic standards. Understanding the significance of quality education, SWLCS extends its support to underprivileged children who cannot afford it. We provide them with affordable education, ensuring that these children receive the knowledge and skills they need to thrive. Additionally, we distribute study materials like pens, pencils, and other essentials to equip them for learning. By equipping these children with the tools they need, we aim to foster their learning and create opportunities for their overall development.
Computer and Spoken English Class
In today’s digital age, computer literacy and proficiency in Spoken English are essential skills for employment and personal growth. These two skills have become much-needed for any individual who wants to build their career with better job prospects and overall growth. Regarding this, Sodepur Waves of Life Charitable Society has organized computer and Spoken English classes for unprivileged and needy students at affordable cost. These classes provide individuals with the opportunity to enhance their technical abilities and communication skills. By acquiring these vital skills, participants can improve their employment prospects and develop a confident and well-rounded personality.
Art Class
Art is a powerful form of expression that nurtures creativity, imagination, and personal development. At Sodepur Waves of Life Charitable Society, we recognize the importance of art in enriching lives. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to explore their artistic abilities, we conduct art classes. These classes are open to individuals who have a passion for art but lack the financial means to afford expensive art programs. Karate Class
Sodepur Waves of Life Charitable Society also offers karate classes, recognizing the importance and benefits of martial arts training. These classes provide individuals, especially underprivileged ones, with the opportunity to learn self-defense, and discipline, and enhance physical fitness. Our experienced karate trainers provide comprehensive training in this subject that fosters confidence, respect, and mental focus, empowering participants to overcome challenges and develop strong character. Through our karate classes, we aim to instill valuable life skills and promote personal growth and empower the journey of self-improvement and self-defense.
Women Empowerment
‘Empowered women empower the world.’ Women play a pivotal role in society, and their empowerment is crucial for the progress and development of communities. SWLCS is dedicated to empowering women, recognizing their crucial role in society, and making them self-sufficient and self-dependent financially. In this regard, we provide stitching and tailoring training, enabling them to build confidence and earn a living on their own. Our training sessions mainly emphasize the importance of self-reliance in today’s world and strive to create a world where women thrive and make a difference in their own lives and communities.
