SODEPUR WAVES OF LIFE CHARITABLE SOCIETY

Independence Day

15th August is a remarkable date for all Indians. As proud Indians, we have been celebrating this historical day in our organization and commemorating the leadership of the greatest freedom strugglers who have sacrificed their lives to achieve independence after two centuries of the bondage of British rule. On this day, our president hoists Teranga and distributes food,  sweets, and chocolates among the people regardless of their economic or social standards. We feel so pleased to have a large number of people join our celebration and make this day memorable for us.

Republic Day

SWLCS celebrates Republic Day on 26th January annually. It is the day when the Indian constitution came into effect and India became independent and democratic completely. This day is celebrated all over our country to spread the message of unity and harmony, making people understand the usefulness and importance of democracy and the constitution of our country. On this day our president hoists the national flag on the organization premises of our trust and our volunteers organize a food distribution program for providing nutritious food to the unprivileged people. We feel so happy on this day to have them gather in our organization and see them enjoying the food wholeheartedly.

Vivekananda Jayanti

Sodepur Waves of Life Charitable Society joyously celebrates the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a visionary and inspiration to millions. On this special occasion, we organize various events to honor his teachings of compassion, service, and empowerment. We also conduct a special food distribution program, serving nutritious meals to the underprivileged. Through this initiative, we strive to emulate Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of selfless service and uplift the lives of the underprivileged in our community.

Gandhi Jayanti

Sodepur Waves of Life Charitable Society joyously celebrates Gandhi Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation. On this significant day, we pay tribute to his principles of peace, non-violence, and social equality. As part of the celebration, we organize a food distribution program, providing meals to the underprivileged. Through this celebration, we strive to promote Gandhi’s vision of a compassionate and inclusive society, where no one goes hungry.
